The General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji has urged Ministers of God to thirst after souls of worshippers, not commercialization of the gospel.
Prophet Hezekiah stated this while ministering on the topic "You're called to catch men" at the 3rd anniversary of CAC Palace of Light and Salvation Assembly, Ipaja, Lagos held on Sunday May 16, 2021.
He further said there are many renowned Ministers of God who have commercialized their ministries, they only thirst for their business and not the souls of worshippers, nor the problems of the society.
The Cleric also admonished the minister in charge of CAC Palace of Light and Salvation, Prophet Timothy Igbalajobi to keep catching men, saying that is why you are called.
He urged him to 'catch men from herbalists, witch doctors and turn them to music ministers. All the turbulence, banditry, herdsmen killings we are experiencing today are because we fail to turn people to God. Jesus told Simon, fear not, from today you shall catch men. In Luke 5:11, as soon as Jesus challenged James and John, they did not delay or wait till next day. They forsook all: their profession, fishing net, father and even the marine spirit and followed Him."
Prophet Hezekiah said having travelled both length and breath of this nation by road, he can boldly say that only about 3 percent of the population have experienced genuine salvation.
"If 3,000 men of God decide to plant 50 churches each and populate these churches with converted souls, we won’t be experiencing all these killings, and bloodshed. We are called to catch men from forces of darkness and bring them into the family of God. We shall not miss the Kingdom of God in Jesus' name," he stated.
The anniversary thanksgiving service also had in attendance the DCC Superintendent of CAC Vineyard of Mercy DCC, Pastor Anu Ojo and many others.
