The Curate Pastor of Christ Apostolic Church, Mercyland District Headquarters, Akute, Ogun State, Pastor Famous Omoh has said that the strongest lifeline to remain connected to God is prayer.

He noted that prayer is simply exhibiting faith in Christ by presenting our petition before God, adding that prayer is not synonymous with clairvoyance and necromancy.

The Cleric who stated this in his message entitled "The Secret Place" obtained by CAC News said that the Spirit gives utterance and this is an underlying truth of the scriptures from Genesis Chapter 1 to Revelation Chapter 22, stating that it takes connectivity and sensitivity on the part of the believer to receive from the Spirit.

"There is a missing link in this generation. We want to operate in the supernatural dimensions  but we are not ready to travail in the secret place where the glory is birthed. We engage in too much talk but no more power. We engage in too much explanation but no demonstration. We engaged in several unhealthy practices in the quest for supernatural manifestation and spiritual relevance. We have forgotten that prayer is not fettish in nature, prayer is not occultic in nature, prayer is not synonymous with sorcery and soothsaying, prayer is not synonymous with astral projection, prayer is not synonymous with clairvoyance and prayer is not synonymous with necromancy. The manifestation of the supernatural does not answer to quotable quotes, eloquence and rhetorics, it is birthed in the secret place," he noted.

Pastor Omoh said it is time we return to the secret place saying that whenever we come into the secret place, we rub minds with God, as much as we open our hearts to him, He opens his heart much more, adding that great secrets, information and revelations are released.

The Cleric further said that "the primary purpose of our calling is not to become a superstar, a celebrity Christian, an entertainer or a secular analyst. The primary purpose of our calling is to become a mouthpiece for God and you cannot become a mouthpiece for God except you hear from him, hence the need to tarry in the secret place. A dying altar breeds a dying Christian.Return to the secret place."
