If we don't want 5G then it means we don't want Jesus to return- Cleric

The Minister in Charge, Christ Apostolic Church, Victory Chapel (An English speaking assembly), Ketu Lagos, Pastor Raphael Adegoke has said there is no reason why Christians should be caught unawares of the Fifth Generation Technology,5G because it is God in the administration of Man, noting that if we don't want these things to happen, then it means we don't want Jesus to return.



The Cleric stated this in his article titled "As Regards the 5G."



Since the last few weeks, the imminent deployment of 5G has been linked with the deadly corona virus. Meanwhile, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) says there is no correlation between the Fifth Generation Technology (5G), Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Security.



In his exact words, Pastor Adegoke stated that "5G has been in use since 2018. There is a need for individuals to make a research and stop spreading half-baked knowledge. This is a generation where knowledge is no more monopolised. I give almost everyone talking about 5G five years (if Christ tarries) before they all possess 5G gadgets, then you will remember this day. Our prayers cannot stop these things happening neither can any policy stop it, because it is all about God in action. Many of these we discussed 3 years ago for about 6 months in our Bible Study series on "New Age". I see no reasons why Christians should be caught unawares because this is "God in the administration of Man". If we don't want these things to happen, then it means we don't want Jesus to return. Go and study the interpretation of the Image shown to Nebuchadnezzar in the book of Daniel. Also, the Antichrist will not be revealed until the Church is raptured."


"All we need now is to scripturally enlighten believers and pray for strength not to make our faith fail in these trying periods. 5G will surely come to stay and something higher than that will still later come. The same way we ran to collect BVN, NIN is the way all will soon be connected. They won't need to beg anyone, but everybody will queue for this. The same way you are limited by your java phones, so your present gadgets will soon become limited. 21st Century Christians should keep themselves abreast of information."



"We haven't seen anything yet. While the advanced countries are preparing for the challenges of postmodernism, we are yet to know how to cope with modernism in Africa. So, let's go back to the Bible and we will experience the peace of Christ in the midst of all. Have you asked how many casualties of 5G are in Osun State, Oyo State, etc, or how many corona virus patients are in the community where it's being test run in Abuja. Let's get off this and prepare ourselves as a Church."
