It is 10 years of God's faithfulness and pleasant surprises, says Pastor Tope Dada as CAC NCA celebrates 10th anniversary

The Music Director, Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Tope Dada has described the journey of CAC New Covenant Assembly, Iju-Ishaga, Lagos, as 10 years of God's faithfulness and pleasant surprises.



Pastor Tope Dada who is the Senior Pastor of the Assembly noted this at their 10th year anniversary held on Sunday 19th January, 2020.



It was indeed a celebration of a decade of divine presence and accomplishments which have seen lives being transformed beyond human comprehension.



He noted that truly CAC New Covenant Assembly enjoyed unlimited grace in pleasant places, giving the glory to God



The Cleric stated that over a decade ago, God graciously gave them a dream and today it has become a reality.



"In fulfilling this mandate, God has helped us to consistently host several soul-inspiring programs including our Couples Retreat (we held four editions outside Nigeria and five within the country), several Evangelism Campaign and Outreach in our immediate community and beyond; “Yes we Can” youth programme to reach out to the poor and less privileged; Several editions of iPraise (International Praise) and Family Services all to the glory of God."



"This last decade has indeed been most intriguing for us as CAC New Covenant family. From the beginning at Excellence Hotels and Conference Centre in Ogba Lagos, till now, God has been magnanimously gracious to us so we can say like the Psalmist “The Lord has done great things for us, and (today) we are filled with joy” Psalms 126:3. We started with less than 20 members including children in 2010. Most of our adults then were students, fresh graduates and people looking for jobs. But today, we give thanks to God, we are flourishing in grace with Goldy families, blessed marriages, the then jobless youths now employers of labor and successful entrepreneurs with turned around lives, and we continue to increase in lips and band in every area of life."



Over the years, we had our ups and downs. Disappointments and Encouragements; Threats and Support; Praise and Condemnation but everything worked together for our good. In all we give glory to God and also thank everyone that we came across on the journey," Pastor Tope Dada stated.



While appreciating the authority and leadership of the church both dead and living for their prayers, he also thanked the Mission Director of CAC Worldwide, Pastor C.S. Fasuyi and his wife for giving him opportunity and support to serve as pioneer minister of CAC Victory Land, GRA Ikeja, Lagos, noting that without yesterday, there cannot be today.



The guest minister of the day, Pastor Anu Ojo while ministering to the mammoth crowd on the theme of the festival "Overflowing Harvest" stated two major types of harvest which are harvest of souls and harvest of blessing.


Pastor Anu Ojo who is the DCC Superintendent of CAC Vineyard of Mercy Districts' Coordinating Council Sabo-Yaba, Lagos, said that as a child of God there is no time you step out that souls cannot be won for Christ. The laborers are always few and the harvest remain plenty.



Pastor Anu Ojo identified giving to God, particularly through Tithe and Offering as the main access to harvest God's blessings.



He prophesied restoration of lost harvest to the people.



The Cleric says when restoration takes place, it doesn't give you the same thing you've lost or missed, but a better and more fulfilling one.



The renowned Prophet and Evangelist also said; "God is always looking for lives where His word would fall. When you don't allow the Word of God to settle in your life, it won't return back to God, but look for another place to settle. If you fail to work with Him, God will raise people who will accept and work for Him."



According to him, wealth or opportunity may move from you but if you stand in the plan of  God, His covenant would never move but will be fulfilled.



The Choir (Covenant Voices) was in their tops with very rich and powerful worship and songs ministration. The thanksgiving session was inspiring when people shared unbelievable testimonies of what God has done in their lives.
