The Mission Pastor of Christ Apostolic Church, Akinyele Region, Pastor I.D.O. Akinpelu has said any leader that works by his ability is downgrading God
Pastor Akinpelu stated this on Saturday January 18, 2020 while ministering at 2020 Leaders' Seminar organized by CAC Somolu Olaleye Districts Coordinating Council (DCC), Somolu, Lagos.
According to him,God doesn’t require your character before calling you, stating that He requires it after calling you.
He said leaders impress from a distance, influence if they get closer and impact in a very close relationship.
Pastor Akinpelu also stated if you're leading and no one is following, you're just strolling
According to him, we don’t have a problem of availability of the Word in CAC, but we have a problem of abusing the Word.
He said becoming an acceptable leader doesn’t come by demanding or coaxing, it comes by commanding it. (CACSO.ORG.NG)
