Persecution of Christians across the world has been described as one of the signs of end time which must happen because it is scriptural.

The District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Pentecostal District, Ikorodu Lagos, Pastor I.T. Ariyo said this on Sunday January 13, 2019 while preaching at the grand finale of the New Year Prayer programme of the District.

Quoting John 15:18, Pastor Ariyo said that Christians are meant to face persecution, stating that a Christian life without persecution is fake.

While mentioning some of the signs of end time, the Cleric said a lot of prophets and prophetesses of Jezebel are rising in today's church which he said may continue due to the fact that it has been foretold by Jesus Christ.

He told the congregation that this is an era where any ungodly thing goes, urging them to always put it at the back of their minds that the trumpet can sound at any time.

According to him, it is difficult to distinguish between the lifestyles of some Christians and unbelievers these days, adding that it is part of the signs that the end is here.

Pastor Ariyo who is also the Supervising Pastor of CACYOF LASPOTECH noted that there is no Presidential candidate  who can do better than President Buhari in terms of protection of lives and property, emphasising that killings and disasters that are happening across the globe are parts of the signs stated in the scripture.
