The General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor S.O. Oladele has said that the duty of a Regional Superintendent is to oversee the region as the chairman of all the meetings, conferences and also preside over services.
He further stated that Regional Superintendents have the power to transfer ministers within their regions up to District Superintendent level.
Pastor Oladele who said this recently in an interview with CAC NEWS however stated that if a Zonal or DCC Superintendent is to be moved out of his station, the Regional Superintendent has to submit such proposal to the General Secretary of CAC Worldwide who will now present the matter before the management of the church.
He added that the directive to move such Zonal or DCC Superintendent will come from the General Secretariat of the church.
“Regional Superintendents are empowered to make the movement of Pastors or District Superintendents within their regions without making reference to us at the missionary headquarters in Ibadan.”
“With the appointment of Regional Superintendent, there is no way any Principal Officer of the church would be paying visit to regions on regular intervals because that is the very reason why Regional Superintendents are appointed. However, we would honour any invitation for special assignment as occasion will demand,” the General Superintendent stated.
