In an atmosphere of praise, reverence and spiritual exhortation, Pastor Felix Akinmuboni has been inducted as the second Zonal Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Christ Family Zone, during an induction service held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the Zonal Headquarters in Ketu, Lagos.

The induction ceremony was conducted by the Regional Superintendent of CAC Akinyele Region, Pastor Samuel Adedayo, in accordance with the established guidelines of the church.

Speaking at the service, Pastor Adedayo delivered an exhortation titled “The Lifestyle and Character of a Good Minister,” drawing his message from 1 Timothy 3:1–7. He emphasised that ministers of the gospel must demonstrate godly character and live in accordance with the teachings of Christ, noting that God has called them to be servants and stewards of the gospel.

Highlighting the attributes of a good minister, the Regional Superintendent stressed the importance of being above reproach, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, and able to teach. He also noted that a minister must not be given to drunkenness, violence, quarrelsomeness, or the love of money, but must be gentle and faithful in managing his household with dignity.

Expounding on 1 Peter 5:1–4, Pastor Adedayo further outlined the responsibilities of ministers as shepherds of God's flock, urging them to lead the church faithfully and discharge their duties in a manner that pleases the Chief Shepherd. He also cited 1 Timothy 5:8, stressing that every minister must take responsibility for the care of his household, adding that ministry responsibilities must not be an excuse for neglecting one's family.

Addressing the relationship between church leaders and members, the Regional Superintendent referenced Romans 13:1–2, emphasising the need to recognise and respect constituted authority. He encouraged the congregation to accept the leadership God had established over them and work in unity with their new Zonal Superintendent.

In his charge to the church, drawing from Hebrews 13:7, 17, Pastor Adedayo noted that Pastor Akinmuboni's appointment had been made through the recognised authorities of the church and urged members to fulfil their responsibilities in supporting his leadership.

He explained that both ministers and members have roles to play in building the church, emphasising that leadership transitions should be understood within the broader purpose of perfecting the church and advancing God's work. He further encouraged both the minister and the congregation to remain attentive to the Word of God and faithfully obey its instructions, noting that their conduct and service would ultimately be assessed by the Master.

The service was attended by ministers and members from districts across Christ Family Zone, alongside distinguished guests from within and beyond the zone. Among those present were the wife of the Regional Superintendent, Mrs. C. F. Adedayo; the Personal Assistant to the Regional Superintendent, Pastor Abiodun Busayo; and the wife of the immediate past Zonal Superintendent, Mrs. Dorcas Afolayan amongst other distinguished guests.
