The Regional Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Pearce Region, Pastor S.O. Aluko, has charged Christians to maintain orderliness in carrying out their God-given assignments, saying that order is essential for effective service in the house of God.
Pastor Aluko gave the charge while delivering a sermon at the induction service of Pastor Abraham Bolanle Ajani as the new District Coordinating Council (DCC) Superintendent of Idi Oro District Coordinating Council, Pearce Region.
Speaking on the theme, “Let There Be Order in the House of God,” with reference to Paul’s letter to Titus, the cleric admonished Christians to embrace orderliness in the discharge of their responsibilities in God’s kingdom.
He stressed that God, who created and arranged all things in an orderly manner, is not the author of confusion. According to him, believers, as children and true representatives of God, must reflect the character of their Father through orderly conduct, particularly in His worship and service.
Pastor Aluko noted that orderliness promotes love and unity among believers, while also enhancing effectiveness and efficiency in the work of God. He added that an orderly system allows every gift and talent in the body of Christ to become relevant and valuable.
The Regional Superintendent further described the posting and induction of Pastor Ajani to Idi Oro DCC as part of God’s divine order for the Church in the present season.
He therefore called on members of the DCC to cooperate with the new superintendent and align themselves with the leadership structure established by the authority of the Church.
Pastor Aluko urged the congregation to embrace the new phase with a spirit of unity, cooperation and commitment, stressing that God's work thrives when His people operate according to His established order.
The induction service was attended by the Pearce Region Secretary, Pastor Wole Ogungbenjo; Pastor A.O. Akanni, DCC Superintendent, Ayegbami DCC, Lagos; Pastor M.K. Alabi, DCC Superintendent, Odo-Iye DCC, Igando-Ilesa; Pastor Jacob Olutimehin, DCC Superintendent, Charity DCC, Lagos; Pastor Adetutu Akin Isaac, Publicity Secretary, Pearce Region; all District Superintendents under Idi Oro DCC, ministers of God, family members, friends and other worshippers from different walks of life.
