The General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi, has charged women of the church to cultivate godly character, stressing that "character speaks louder than words."
Pastor Odejobi gave the charge yesterday while ministering at the 82nd Annual Conference of the Good Women Association of CAC, Nigeria and Overseas, Ikeji I Conference Centre, currently holding at the Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
Speaking on the theme of the conference, "The Bible: God's Timeless Message to Women of Faith," Pastor Odejobi described it as timely and relevant, urging women to become faith-filled believers by trusting God's Word, obeying it, walking in His light, and living in the beauty of His holiness.
He reminded the women that every believer is called to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, citing Matthew 28:18–20, and encouraged them to remain steadfast in their love for God, obedience to His Word, and commitment to His service.
Emphasising the importance of exemplary conduct, the General Superintendent said a believer's lifestyle often speaks more powerfully than words. Drawing lessons from the lives of Ruth and Mary, he urged the women to uphold integrity, humility, and godliness in their homes, workplaces, communities, and the church.
Pastor Odejobi concluded by encouraging the women not to grow weary in serving God and prayed for fresh empowerment through the Holy Spirit to enable them to render faithful, tireless, and acceptable service to God.
The 82nd Annual Conference of the Good Women Association of Christ Apostolic Church (Nigeria and Overseas) is currently underway at the Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State. The conference, which commenced on Wednesday, July 29, and will conclude on Saturday, August 1, 2026, is the first of four batches scheduled for this year's convention.
The gathering opened in an atmosphere of fervent prayers, joyful worship, resounding hallelujahs, and heartfelt thanksgiving, as participants celebrated God's faithfulness in bringing them together once again for a season of spiritual renewal, fellowship, and empowerment.
