Regional Superintendent of CAC Pearce Region, Pastor S.O. Aluko
The primary mission of the Church is to transform the world for God, not to contribute to the moral decay of a perishing society.
This assertion was made by the Regional Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Pearce Region, Pastor S. O. Aluko.
In his welcome address at the recently concluded Pearce Day celebration, the cleric urged members of the Church to avoid entanglement with worldliness and all forms of defilement.
Pastor Aluko explained that while the children of Israel endured purposeful suffering for a period, the mixed multitude among them failed to do so.
He emphasized that any church member who does not exhibit the character of God’s children falls into the category of a “mixed multitude” and is not prepared for the heavenly journey.
According to him, such individuals lack the steadfast faith required for the spiritual journey, often living without clear purpose. He noted that they are quick to grumble and complain whenever their desires are not met.
Pastor Aluko therefore advised members of the Pearce Region, as well as ministers, to be cautious of negative influences as they continue their walk of faith toward eternity.
The event also featured the inauguration of the District Coordinating Council (DCC) and Zonal Chapters of the Christ Apostolic Church Media and Publicity Secretaries in the Pearce Region.
In an interview, the Chairman of the Anniversary Committee, Pastor Stephen Ajayi, PhD, expressed gratitude to God and deep appreciation to the Regional Superintendent, Pastor S. O. Aluko, for the opportunity to serve. He attributed the success of the anniversary to the cooperation and unity among committee members.
The occasion was well attended by all DCC and Zonal Superintendents, alongside numerous ministers within the region.
