CAC Ilorin DCC Headquarters Youth marks Easter with free medical outreach, reaches nearly 300 beneficiaries



‎Christ Apostolic Church Oke-Isegun, Taiwo, Ilorin DCC Headquarters—through its Youth Chapel/English Assembly Reunion—celebrated Easter Monday with a impactful free medical outreach, bringing essential healthcare services to the community.

‎The outreach was officially declared open by the Ilorin DCC Superintendent, Superintendent Evangelist E.T. Akeredolu, who expressed satisfaction with the availability of test kits and medications. He also offered prayers for the success of the programme.

‎The initiative attracted nearly 300 beneficiaries, comprising both young and old, including members from various Christian denominations and the Muslim community.

‎Participants received a wide range of healthcare services, including malaria and HIV testing, blood sugar checks, blood pressure monitoring, typhoid and hepatitis screening, as well as consultations for general body aches and medical counselling.

‎Free medications were distributed to patients, bringing relief and joy to many attendees. The five-hour programme was delivered with professionalism and compassion by a dedicated medical team, including Dr. Segun Samson Ilori, Dr. Oyewale Olawale, and Dr. Rufus Olubunmi Fatunbi, alongside other committed health workers.

‎One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Comfort Ologunleko, who travelled from Jebba, commended the church for organizing a well-coordinated and impactful initiative.

‎Overall, the outreach was a resounding success, reflecting the church’s commitment to community service and its dedication to promoting health and well-being.
