The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor S.O. Oladele, has declared that Jesus Christ is sufficient for the entire global population, stressing that no matter the number of people who come to Him, Christ remains more than enough.

Pastor Oladele made this assertion while delivering a sermon titled “Take Your Portion” at The Men of Issachar Ministry, Ibadan, Oyo State, where he ministered on Sunday.

Speaking from his primary biblical text, Exodus 16:11–15, the cleric recalled how God provided manna for the Israelites during their wilderness journey

He explained that the manna was a symbol and foreshadow of the true substance—Jesus Christ—whom God would later reveal as the ultimate provision for humanity.

According to him, Jesus is the portion allotted to everyone who comes to Him in faith. He emphasized that Christ is not limited by numbers, needs, or human differences.

Highlighting the nature of this “portion in Christ,” Pastor Oladele outlined several key attributes:He described Jesus as a sufficient portion, stating that even if the world’s population—now over eight billion—were to come to Him at once, Christ would still be enough for all.

He also noted that Jesus is a suitable portion, explaining that there is nothing anyone desires Christ to be that He is not able to provide.

According to him, Jesus meets the needs of all people regardless of age, education, race, or background.

Pastor Oladele further described Jesus as a satisfying portion, saying Christ alone satisfies the human soul.

He reminded believers that Jesus is Emmanuel—God with us—and that there is no need to seek refuge, counsel, or fulfillment outside of Him.

Quoting Philippians 4:13, he identified Jesus as a strengthening portion, affirming that Christ empowers believers to stand for truth and righteousness in a world plagued by corruption, immorality, dishonesty, and other vices.

He also referred to Jesus as a sustaining portion, citing Acts 17:28, and noted that everything required for life and eternity is found in Christ alone.

Finally, Pastor Oladele described Jesus as a sure portion, assuring the congregation that Christ remains a dependable anchor who responds whenever His people call.

He encouraged believers to stop murmuring and instead step out in faith to claim their portion in Christ, stressing that the time to do so is now.

The service concluded with Pastor Oladele pronouncing blessings on the congregation in the name of the Lord.
