After many years of intentional nurturing, teaching, and spiritual formation under the Children’s Ministry, the Teenagers of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Oke Ibukun Araromi, Amazing Grace Zonal Headquarters, First Gate, Ikorodu, were formally separated into a distinct Teenagers’ Assembly

This milestone has now culminated in the joyful celebration of its first anniversary.

The Teenagers’ Assembly officially commenced in January 2025, following divine inspiration and visionary leadership that identified the urgent need to intentionally nurture, disciple, and build the spiritual lives of teenagers in a manner appropriate to their age, realities, and challenges.

Since its inception, the assembly has served as a platform for sound biblical teaching, character formation, prayer, mentorship, and spiritual guidance, providing teenagers with a strong foundation for Christian living.

The establishment of the Teenagers’ Assembly was made possible through the vision and unwavering support of Pastor Timothy O. A. Yerokun, PhD, the Zonal Superintendent of the Amazing Grace Zone. God used him mightily to initiate and birth the Teenagers’ Assembly at CAC Oke Ibukun Araromi

His passion for the next generation and commitment to structured spiritual growth laid a solid foundation for what has become a vibrant and impactful arm of the church.

The assembly is presently under the leadership of Evangelist Abraham Olaoluwa Babalola, the Minister-in-Charge, with the committed support of Mrs Funmi Ajibola. Their dedication and service have been instrumental to the smooth administration, spiritual stability, and continuous growth of the Teenagers’ Assembly.

Through regular teachings, interactive sessions, prayers, and mentorship programmes, the assembly has continued to record remarkable growth in attendance, spiritual understanding, and moral discipline among the teenagers.

Prior to the formal establishment of the Teenagers’ Assembly, these young believers were diligently nurtured and grounded in the faith through the faithful labour of devoted Children Teachers who laid a solid spiritual foundation in their lives.

Notable among them are Mrs Babalola, Mrs Joke Badejo, Deaconess Ope Oluwa Ojo, Sister Pelumi Dada, Sister Anuoluwapo, Mrs Yewande, and several other committed teachers whose prayers, teachings, and sacrifices prepared the children for a higher level of spiritual responsibility and growth.

During the anniversary celebration, heartfelt gratitude was offered to God for His faithfulness over the past year. Appreciation was also extended to church leadership, parents, teachers, and all stakeholders who have consistently supported the vision. The celebration served as both a reflection on the journey so far and a renewed commitment to raising godly teenagers who are firmly rooted in Christ and prepared for the future.

As the Teenagers’ Assembly enters its second year, the leadership has reaffirmed its commitment to deeper spiritual engagement, stronger discipleship, and the intentional grooming of teenagers to become responsible Christians and future leaders in both the church and society.

The first anniversary stands as a testimony that when God gives a vision and faithful hands steward it, growth, continuity, and lasting impact are inevitable.
