The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Akinyele Region on Saturday, October 25, 2025, hosted its Annual Sisters Summit at the CAC Yaba District Coordinating Council (DCC) Headquarters, Yaba, Lagos, drawing sisters from across the region for a day of celebration, spiritual renewal, character development and purposeful engagement. The summit centred on the theme of royal identity, influence and excellence.
Delivering the first charge titled “The Royal Diadem and Godly Influence,” the Regional Youth Coordinator, Pastor Temitope Ebenezer Arowele, described every Christian sister as “a royal diadem uniquely crafted by God for impact.” He stressed that influence, according to Scripture, “is not defined by popularity but by purposeful living and Christlike conduct,” urging participants to reflect Christ in character and behaviour and to “shine intentionally in every sphere of life.”
In her welcome address, the newly inducted Regional Sisters Coordinator, Mrs. Deborah Olamiposi Olayiwola, expressed gratitude to God and appreciation to participants for their presence. She described the summit as “a divinely ordained platform to strengthen, equip and reposition sisters for greater impact in their homes, churches and society.” According to her, the programme was carefully designed to address both the spiritual and practical dimensions of Christian womanhood. “This theme reminds us that we are not ordinary, but God’s royal diadems, called to reflect excellence, dignity and godly influence everywhere we go,” she said.
A major highlight of the event was the inauguration of the newly appointed Regional Sisters Fellowship Executives by Pastor Arowele. The executives, led by Mrs. Olayiwola, were prayed for and committed into God’s hands for wisdom, strength and excellence in service. This was followed by an energetic high-praise session led by Minister Florence Onakoya, which further heightened the spiritual atmosphere.
Speaking on “Poise, Etiquette and Godly Representation,” Mrs. Omolola Omodayo emphasised that true beauty flows from inner character. “Speech, posture, body language and listening skills are vital expressions of grace,” she noted, adding that lessons from the life of Esther highlight the importance of patience, calmness and proper grooming as reflections of godly character.
Another guest speaker, Mrs. Tosin Olaniyi, addressed workplace and marketplace influence, reminding participants that “the marketplace is a mission field where Christian virtues must consistently shine.” She encouraged discipline, excellence and continuous learning, noting that “godly character and diligence can open doors and draw others to Christ.”
A practical session on financial wisdom was facilitated by Mrs. Oluwakemisola Eesuola, who stressed the importance of responsible money management, financial discipline and developing additional streams of income to support personal and family growth.
The keynote address was delivered by Evangelist Mrs. Mojisola Olaniyi, wife of Pastor F. A. Olaniyi, Provost of Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary, Ile-Ife. Speaking on “The Identity of a Sister as God’s Royal Diadem,” she drew from Isaiah 62:3 to explain that a royal diadem represents value, beauty and divine honour placed upon God’s children.
She told the gathering that “a royal diadem is not worn in obscurity but displayed with purpose,” noting that sisters are called to reflect God’s glory through integrity, humility and consistent godly living. According to her, royal identity carries responsibility, as believers must live in ways that honour the One who crowns them. “When God calls you His diadem, He expects your life to mirror His beauty,” she said.
Evangelist Olaniyi emphasised that the crown of royalty is sustained through obedience, discipline and spiritual depth, warning that compromise diminishes influence. She encouraged sisters to embrace their identity with confidence while remaining grounded in prayer, the Word of God and service. “Royalty is not about outward appearance alone, but about a heart aligned with God’s will,” she added.
She concluded by urging participants to consciously manifest Christ in their homes, workplaces and communities, stressing that when sisters walk in their God-given identity, they become vessels through which God’s grace, excellence and influence are revealed to the world.
The summit also featured a revival session led by Prophet Olorunfemi Olomu, marked by intense prayers and Scripture readings from Job 15:19, Job 25:2 and Genesis 29:31–33. An appreciation segment honoured Evangelist Mrs. Bunmi Wajero, the immediate past Regional Sisters Coordinator, for her years of dedicated service to the fellowship.
