The Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF), Akinyele Region, has officially flagged off the Kingdom Impact Coaching Academy (KICA), marking a major stride in its drive to equip youths with digital, leadership and life skills.

The flag-off meeting, held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Akinyele Regional Headquarters, Christ Apostolic Church General Headquarters, Ebute Elefun, Lagos, drew the presence of key regional leaders, including the Regional Superintendent, Pastor Samuel Adeyemo Adedayo; the Regional Secretary, Pastor E.O.O. Oyedeji; the Regional CACYOF Supervising Superintendent, Pastor S.E.A. Oludare; the Personal Assistant to the Regional Superintendent, Pastor Busayo Abiodun; the Regional CACYOF executives led by Pastor Temitope Arowele; and representatives of the KICA initiative.

Presenting the vision and structure of the academy, Pastor S.E.A. Oludare said the initiative was birthed in line with the vision of the Mission’s President, Pastor S.O. Oladele. “KICA is designed to strategically position our youths for relevance in today’s digital world while maintaining a firm Christian foundation,” he said. “It is about exposing them to opportunities that will make them productive, impactful and purpose-driven.”

In his presentation, the CACYOF Regional Coordinator, Pastor Temitope Arowele, disclosed that all KICA activities would be conducted online through a dedicated Learning Management System (LMS) currently under development. “Our sessions will be handled by seasoned facilitators, fully recorded for revision, and structured to build digital competence, strong values and practical life skills,” he explained.

Pastor Arowele revealed that about 400 youths had already expressed interest in the academy, pending formal approval to commence registration. “Each participant will have a unique login ID, which will allow us to monitor attendance and engagement. The system will also help us identify and support participants who are struggling with consistency,” he said. He added that a major goal of KICA is “to deliberately steer our youths away from fraudulent means of livelihood by equipping them with legitimate, marketable and future-ready skills.”

According to him, the academy’s curriculum will run across ten schools, including Leadership, Career Development, Mindshift, Technology (Elementary), Business Development, Marriage and Relationship, Media Mastery, Purpose Discovery, Productivity and Financial Intelligence. The training will be delivered in three phases: general courses, specialization, and an implementation stage.

Commending the initiative, the Regional Superintendent, Pastor Samuel Adedayo, described the presentation as “well-thought-out, detailed and timely.” He confirmed that the program would be offered completely free of charge and that participants would receive certificates upon successful completion.

While expressing full support for the academy, Pastor Adedayo cautioned that KICA must not be reduced to a purely academic exercise. “The spiritual and moral development of our youths must remain central,” he said. “This vision must be carefully monitored and protected so that it is not hijacked or derailed in the future, especially in areas of finance and administration.”

Responding, Pastor Arowele expressed gratitude for the Regional Superintendent’s guidance and reaffirmed the commitment of the KICA leadership to uphold the church’s spiritual values. He also briefed the leadership on other regional youth initiatives, noting the success of the last Youth Conference, the upcoming Brothers’ Fellowship Summit, the growing strength of the Sisters’ Fellowship with attendance figures between 800 and 1,000, and preparations for the commencement of the Professional Fellowship.

He further disclosed that plans are in top gear for the Maximum Success Crusade scheduled for February 2026, which will culminate in a new church planting, with prayer sessions already ongoing.

In his closing remarks, Pastor Adedayo encouraged the youth leadership to remain focused and accountable. “God is counting on this generation, and the Church must intentionally prepare them for excellence without losing their spiritual compass,” he said. He prayed for divine wisdom, sustainability and lasting impact for the KICA vision, formally giving his blessing for the initiative to move forward.
