The Royal Shepherds (R/S) Babajide Regional Command of the Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, has officially commissioned its newly built regional office in Odo-Owa, Kwara State, on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

The historic event, which also featured an award presentation, was graced by Regional Secretary and Superintendent of Sabo-Oke DCC, Pastor Michael Kayode Oloruntoba, Ministers of God, Patrons and Patronesses of the Royal Shepherds, Regional Executives, and members from Kwara and Kogi States.

An award of excellence was presented to the Regional Superintendent, Pastor S.O. Owolabi in recognition of his dedication, honesty, innovation, and selfless contribution to youth development and the mission’s overall growth.

Commissioning the building, the Regional Superintendent, Pastor S.O. Owolabi, thanked God for the success of the project and for making it a reality during his tenure as Regional Superintendent.

He expressed deep joy that the long-nurtured dream had finally come to pass through the collective effort of dedicated members.

Pastor Owolabi encouraged all members of the Royal Shepherds in the Babajide Region to continue their good works and remain steadfast in the service of God.

“Let us not look back in our service to God. With unity, faith, and commitment, we will achieve even greater things for the glory of God and the growth of His church.”

Earlier, the Regional Commander, R/S Major General (Dr.) Tosin Emmanuel Akinduyo, expressed profound gratitude to God for making the day a reality, describing the commissioning as “a reflection of vision fulfilled, teamwork, foresight, and divine favour.”

According to Akinduyo, the new regional office represents far more than a physical structure.

“This office is a symbol of growth, a symbol of hope, and a platform for empowerment. It stands as a testimony to our shared vision, to bring services closer to the people, spread evangelism, deepen community engagement, and enhance operational efficiency,” he said.

He noted that the dream of building a befitting regional office had been nurtured for years but delayed due to limited resources. However, through faith, persistence, and collective effort, the project was finally completed.

Akinduyo commended the leadership of the Babajide Regional Superintendent, Pastor S.O. Owolabi, describing him as “a courageous father whose vision and spiritual guidance have been the driving force behind the project.

“Today’s event is a double celebration, honouring the outstanding contributions of our Father in the Lord, Pastor S.O. Owolabi, and commissioning the new R/S Babajide Regional Office, which symbolizes progress and renewed dedication to service,” he stated.

The Regional Commander also recalled that Babajide Regional Command was the first to be inaugurated in the history of the Christ Apostolic Church (Nigeria & Overseas) on August 13, 2020, and has now become the first to complete and commission a regional office from the foundation level.

Akinduyo appreciated several individuals and groups for their constant support, including Prophet M.O. Adio, Evangelist E.T. Akeredolu, Pastor J. Makinde, Pastor Abiola Abe, Pastor A.O. Oladele, as well as all R/S Regional Executives, Honorary Executives, and members from Kwara and Kogi Commands.

“Through your hard work and willingness to go the extra mile, you have shown that when people unite with purpose, there is no limit to what can be achieved,” he said.

The Commander also acknowledged the host church, CAC Oke-Isegun, Odo-Owa, for its hospitality and cooperation throughout the construction and commissioning process.

While calling for more collaboration, Akinduyo appealed to partners, donors, and well-wishers to continue supporting the mission.

The event featured donations for the further development of the R/S Babajide Region and a spirited performance by the Royal Shepherds’ band, which inspired the worshippers.
