It was a colourful celebration of 19 years of abundant grace at the 19th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service of Christ Apostolic Church, City of God Zonal Headquarters, Sango/Ijoko, Ogun State.

The service, specially organised to celebrate and appreciate God’s faithfulness, brought together clergy, members, and well-wishers who joined the Zonal Superintendent, Pastor E.A. Badmus, in offering heartfelt thanks to God for His enduring grace over the years.

The General Overseer of Christ the King Rescue Global Ministry, Prophet G.O. Onaolapo, who was the guest minister of the day, delivered the message on the anniversary theme, “Grace Upon Grace,” drawn from John 1:14–17.

Prophet Onaolapo delivered a powerful message on the immeasurable dimensions of God’s grace, emphasizing that every believer is a product of divine grace.

Speaking during the service, Prophet Onaolapo described grace as “multiple, multidimensional, and multi-purpose,” explaining that believers’ entire existence and progress are sustained by it.

He outlined 21 exploits of God’s grace, highlighting its transformative and sustaining power in the life of every Christian.

According to him, “We are saved by grace, chosen by grace, and will make heaven by grace.” Prophet Onaolapo further noted that grace calls believers into ministry, attracts divine favour, and ensures victory in life’s battles.

Quoting Psalm 71:7, he said, “Grace makes us living wonders and guarantees success, answered prayers, and steadfastness in faith.” He added that through grace, Christians receive competence in ministry (2 Corinthians 3:5–6), flourish, are protected from danger, and enjoy miracles and forgiveness.

Prophet Onaolapo enumerated other manifestations of grace in believers’ lives, including fruitfulness, progress, blessings, and divine sustenance, affirming that “we win and keep winning by grace.”

Highlighting the evidence of grace in the church, he mentioned the strategic location of the assembly, its steady growth, effective ministerial and management teams, diverse membership composition, and consistent financial provision as testimonies of divine grace.

The preacher also urged members to respond to “grace upon grace” through supernatural praise, celebration, public testimonies, and tangible kingdom projects such as building for God’s work.

To ensure that grace continues to abound, Prophet Onaolapo emphasized a life of gratitude, humility, service, godly parenting, and faithfulness in handling the affairs of God’s vineyard. He also encouraged believers to be gracious to others, live wisely, and maintain spiritual checks and balances.

In conclusion, he declared that “Grace upon grace is God’s desire for us all,” urging the congregation to remain thankful and steadfast so that divine grace will never cease in their lives.

The congregation was further blessed with immeasurable fatherly blessings from the Director of Administration, CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Tope Dada, whose presence was indeed a great blessing to all in attendance.
