With hearts full of gratitude, the Good Women Association of Christ Apostolic Church, All Saints Chapel, Basorun, Ibadan, celebrated their 3rd Anniversary in grand style on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Elegantly dressed, in reflection of the Proverbs 31 woman, the women joyfully appreciated God for His faithfulness and mercy that made the celebration a reality.
With the theme “My Life is a Testimony” and a scriptural reference from 1 Samuel 1:1–11, the celebration began on Friday, August 22, with An Evening of Praise. It was a joyful moment of dancing and reflection on the goodness and mercies of God.
The following day featured empowerment sessions, where the women gathered to acquire new skills and receive impactful lectures, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning.
The grand finale on Sunday was nothing short of amazing. The congregation was richly blessed by the Word of God, delivered by Evangelist Mrs. Elizabeth A. Adegbenro, who spoke on the topic, “My Life is a Testimony.”
She reminded the women that being alive is a testament to God’s goodness. Using the story of Hannah, she emphasized that when our testimonies come, like Samuel did for Hannah, we must not forget God. She challenged the women to live right, act right, and honor their vows, so their lives can continually reflect the goodness of God.
Evangelist Adegbenro urged the Good Women to uphold their godly virtues and strive to live daily in ways that please the Lord.
