In a momentous and joyous occasion, members of Christ Apostolic Church Mountain of Light Zone, Ijeshatedo, Lagos State gathered to witness the induction service of their new Superintendent, Pastor Ezekiel Ovueweevuraye Oluwadamilare Omologe.
The service which held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the church as the Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas inducted the new Superintendent to guide and shepherd the Zone.
Song ministrations by the Zonal Good Women Choir, ‘The Gospel Singers’ and the Zonal Choir who amplified the atmosphere with their renditions, characterized the ecstasy of the induction.
The Regional Superintendent, CAC Akinyele region, Pastor S. A. Adedayo, represented by Ajeromi DCC Superintendent, Pastor Godwin Nwobodo, conducted the induction rites.
Pastor Adedayo, admonishing the inductee and the church, charged the Superintendent to feed the church with the true and undiluted word of God, and encourage them, adding that church member must be careful not to do things monetary gains.
“There are two types of Elders in the church; those who respect and recognize that a Pastor is God’s servant and labor for the growth of God’s Kingdom (1Timothy 5:17), and those who are like Alexander as seen in the book of 2 Timothy 4:14. I charge you today to emulate the good Elders and not Alexander,” the Regional Superintendent told the Elders.
In his speech, Pastor Omologe expressed his gratitude to God, and the Church Authority for being entrusted with the responsibility of shepherding the Mountain of Light Zone.
"I am deeply honored to stand before you today as the new superintendent of this remarkable church. I believe that God has great plans for this congregation, and together, we will continue to populate His Kingdom,” says Pastor Omologe.
The service was graced with the presence of dignitaries including, District Superintendent, CAC Oke-Itura, Pastor J. O Owolabi; District Superintendent, CAC Full Victory, Pastor D.A Olorunfemi; District Superintendent, CAC Divine Grace, Pastor Oriyomi; Amore Centre Superintendent, Pastor A.A Oyekunle; Evang. (Mrs) Oketola; amongst many others.
