The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has inducted Pastor (Dr.) Timothy Akinyele Gbegudu as the 4th Regional Superintendent of CAC Hanson Region (Edo and Delta States).

Pastor Gbegudu who was inducted last week by the Church Authority represented by the General Superintendent of the church, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi, succeeded Pastor E.O. Aigbohai who retired few months ago after reaching 75 years retirement age as stipulated in the church constitution.

The induction service, held at the Regional Headquarters of Hanson Region, CAC Hill of Salvation, Benin City had in attendance apart from the General Superintendent, the General Secretary of the church, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur; retired Regional Superintendent of Hanson Region, Pastor S.I. Ogbomode, immediately past Regional Superintendent, Pastor E.O. Aigbohai and many others.

While ministering at the programme, the General Superintendent, Pastor Odejobi told Ministers that they can reach the unreachable without lobbying in the ministry, saying he never thought he could become the General Superintendent of CAC considering the fact that he is a planter.

He cautioned some ministers who are only after promotion or becoming Superintendent at any level, adding that; "no matter who you're, Satan will come to tell you to turn stone to bread for you to be promoted."

On being a good administrator, Pastor Odejobi said it's by the Word of God one will become being administrative of oneself, one's home and ministry, noting that anyone who hasn't been able to administer himself will regret being promoted.

While stating that the major problems we have in our church are indiscipline and individualism, the General Superintendent implored ministers and members of the church to fully partake in programmes of the church at all levels and contribute their quotas.

Earlier in his address, the Chairman of the induction planning committee, Pastor E.O.A. Orode said Pastor Gbegudu was posted to the region in the month of July and since assumption of office in few months, he has proven to be a visionary leader and a problem solver.

"Without mincing words, I stand here to say that he is a father and a leader with the qualities of both a Lion and a Lamb (humility and boldness) in Hanson Region to lead us to a greater height. I implore everyone to join this great Man of God in the herculean task ahead of him," he said.
