CAC Oke-Oluwa DCC, Owo holds refresher course




It was a moment of spiritual awakening for the workforce of Christ Apostolic Church Oke Oluwa DCC, Owo at this year's DCC refresher course held at the church headquarters.


The Superintendent of the DCC, Pastor G. O. Adegboro, in his opening address tittled "Abundance of Grace" explained the meaning of the God's grace and the abundance of grace made available to believers in Christ Jesus which according to him includes, redemption, ability to grow in grace, the Bible, the Holy Spirit, fruits and gifts of the Spirit, adding that the grace of God must not be misused but must be appreciated and well appropriated.


The refresher course was characterized by many lectures that left the attendees impacted. 


The Coordinator, Christ International Divinity College (CINDICO), Akure, Pastor J. A. Abiodun, who took a lecture on "Brokenness under Grace" explained the necessity for all workers in the vineyard to have such experience to be successful in the Master's assignment.


"Most of the lapses evident in the lifestyle of workers are a result of lack of brokenness before taking up the assignment of working for God," the cleric said.


The District Superintendent of Arotiba District, Owo, Pastor M. O. Job, who encouraged church workers to embrace God's grace, said that, "this is the starting point for any serious minded Christian. Without grace, you can not be enlisted as a child of God and as such, working for God who doesn't know you will be a waste of time and resources."


In his lecture titled "Economic hardship in time like this," Elder Ayodeji told the congregation, "the economic hardship of this moment has no boundary, it affects believers as well as unbelievers. It is expedient for believers to be proactive and take necessary measures in order not to be badly affected. Individual sources of income and outlet of resources must be consciously considered and necessary adjustment made to maintain balance."


The Chairman, Planning Committee, Pastor Ogunmola appreciated God for the outpouring of His fresh anointing on the teaming workforce of the DCC and encouraged them to make good use of the new knowledge gained during the refresher course.


The refresher course was well attended by all the District Superintendents; Pastors, Evangelists, Midwives, Ministers wives, Elders and Deaconesses.
