Future of this mission, Nigeria is in your hands, JABU VC charges students at 2023 Academic Stars' Summit

The Vice Chancellor, Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State, Professor O.A. Fakolujo has told youth of CAC that the future of the church and Nigeria is in their hands.

Prof. Fakolujo gave this charge in a Goodwill Message delivered at the 2023 Academic Stars' Summit organized by the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas held at Oba Olashore Auditorium, Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State.

The JABU VC who had specially appreciated the Authority of Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas under the leadership of Pastor S. O. Oladele for according a special space for the youths, also saluted the Director of Youth Affairs, Pastor S. O. Gbuyiro "for sustaining and keeping the fire of Christ burning amongst the youths. I sincerely salute your courage and doggedness in ensuring the success of this year's 2023 Youth Academic Summit."

According to him, the 2023 edition of the Summit themed "Grace for Exploits" from the text Daniel 11:32, confirms the new dawn and season for the Christ Apostolic Church where the youths occupy an important place in the future of the church and Nigeria at large.

"In preparation for the fulfillment of the glorious promises of the end-time church, the place of discipleship cannot be overemphasized in the process of raising apostolic youths through sound doctrines for the manifestation of God's power for societal transformation. Training Christian youths to do exploits for God in all spheres of the society is a means to raise Daniel's company in this end-time," he said.

The Vice Chancellor further charged the youths that after the summit, "it is hoped that you will be transformed, enlightened, empowered and enthroned to become agents of transformation both in our church and the nation as kings and priests for Christ's kingdom to be established in all spheres of the society."

Prof. Fakolujo concluded his address with Deuteronomy 28:1 which says "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth," wishing the students outstanding success and God's enduring blessings in life.
