Pastor Ajiboye inducted District Superintendent, as CAC Gospel Progress District inaugurated

The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has recently inaugurated CAC Gospel Progress District, Ekiti State and inducted Pastor Emmanuel Oluwasola Ajiboye as the pioneer District Superintendent.

The induction and inauguration service which had in attendance ministers, members and well wishers of Pastor Ajiboye was conducted by the DCC Superintendent of Oniyo DCC, Pastor E. O. Benjamin who represented the Church Authority.

Gospel Progress District which started as an assembly in year 2000 and became a District in 2021 comprises six assemblies.

The DCC Superintendent of Oniyo DCC, Pastor Benjamin said while giving the message on the topic “The Eligibilities or Qualifications of a Minister of God” (text: 1 Peter 1:10-15) in our society, a minister is a generic term that usually refers to a pastor, preacher or clergyman.

He said the qualifications of a minister must first include a divine calling (Acts 13:2), explained that “someone once said that there are two kinds of people who enter the ministry: Persons called by God or fools. The meaning of this is, due to many adversities faced in ministry, it is a great mistake to become a minister, especially a pastor, unless you have received a specific call from God. No amount of education from a Bible college or seminary can ever compensate for its absence.”

On qualifications of ministers of God, the Cleric said a minister of God must live a holy life, he must set himself apart from all iniquities, avoid evils and must be prepared for service to God (2nd Timothy 2:20-21; 1 Peter 1:15).

Pastor Benjamin further said: ”he must have a living faith in God that called him. He must be disciplined and prayerful. For him to overcome all challenges, and to triumph over evil, he must be a prayer man. Success does not come easily, but those that commit themselves to prayer will succeed in life and ministry (Psalm 5:3; 1 Thess. 5:7).  He must always stand on Truth (Psalm 15:1-2) and be a friend of the Word of God (2 Timothy 2:15).”

Pastor Emmanuel Oluwasola Ajiboye was born into the family of Pa and Madam David Akinwumi Ajiboye of Irese street in Odo-Oro Ekiti, in Ikole Local Government of Ekiti State, in the late 70s.

He went to many primary schools due to movement from one state to another, but he finished from Ganmo LGA Primary school in 1992. He gained admission into Idofian Grammar school that same year and graduated from the school in 1998. After his secondary education, he went to DOBAS technical college (Private) Ilorin and graduated from the college in the year 2000.

After he graduated from technical college, he worked briefly in a Private company in Ilorin and Ife-Olukotun in Kogi State. He later gained an admission to the Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti in the year 2003 to study accounting but after a semester in the institution, in the same year, he proceeded to a seminary (UMCATC, Ilorin) to answer the call of God which had been upon him when he was still in the womb of his mother to offer Religious study and finished as a diploma Student in the year 2006 and later obtained his Bachelor's Degree in theology from LIFE theological seminary, Ikorodu Lagos.

After he graduated from UMCATC, Evangelist E.O. Ajiboye then was graciously recommended for an ordination by his loving father and mentor Pastor J.B. Owope (now the DCC Supt. Ganmo DCC), but ordination was postponed until 2008 when he was ordained as Pastor and he was picked as curate of Pastor J.B. Owope at CAC Oke Ibukun District Headquarters Ilorin.

Pastor Ajiboye was later transferred to CAC Gaa Akanbi Zonal Headquarters as Curate Pastor. In the year 2018, this man of God was transferred again to CAC Oniyo DCC Ado Ekiti as curate to the DCC Superintendent but according to the plan of God, Pastor Ajiboye did not stay at the Headquarters rather, he was posted to CAC Oke Imole 2 assembly under Oke Imole District.

On resumption at his new station and due to his nature as one passionately interested in the progress of God’s work, he restructured the church by creating more church societies, programs, procurement of musical instruments now worth over a million naira for the church choir, ceiling project, plastering of outside wall etc. In March, 2022, the authority elevated CAC Oke Imole 2 to the status of a district headquarters and Pastor Ajiboye was promoted to the status of District Superintendent in November 2022 and was made the pioneer District Superintendent for Gospel Progress District, Hallelujah.

He got married to Mrs. Rachael Folakemi Ajiboye in the year 2002 and the marriage is blessed with four godly children.

Pastor E.O. Ajiboye is a Teacher of the Word of God, a motivator, a great giver, an administrator, a great mentor, a reader and a learner, an exemplary leader, a diligent and a humble servant of Jesus Christ.
