Pastor Ajiboye inducted District Superintendent, as CAC Gospel Progress District inaugurated

The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has recently inaugurated CAC Gospel Progress District, Ekiti State and inducted Pastor Emmanuel Oluwasola Ajiboye as the pioneer District Superintendent.

The induction and inauguration service which had in attendance ministers, members and well wishers of Pastor Ajiboye was conducted by the DCC Superintendent of Oniyo DCC, Pastor E. O. Benjamin who represented the Church Authority.

Gospel Progress District which started as an assembly in year 2000 and became a District in 2021 comprises six assemblies.

The DCC Superintendent of Oniyo DCC, Pastor Benjamin said while giving the message on the topic “The Eligibilities or Qualifications of a Minister of God” (text: 1 Peter 1:10-15) in our society, a minister is a generic term that usually refers to a pastor, preacher or clergyman.

He said the qualifications of a minister must first include a divine calling (Acts 13:2), explained that “someone once said that there are two kinds of people who enter the ministry: Persons called by God or fools. The meaning of this is, due to many adversities faced in ministry, it is a great mistake to become a minister, especially a pastor, unless you have received a specific call from God. No amount of education from a Bible college or seminary can ever compensate for its absence.”

On qualifications of ministers of God, the Cleric said a minister of God must live a holy life, he must set himself apart from all iniquities, avoid evils and must be prepared for service to God (2nd Timothy 2:20-21; 1 Peter 1:15).

Pastor Benjamin further said: ”he must have a living faith in God that called him. He must be disciplined and prayerful. For him to overcome all challenges, and to triumph over evil, he must be a prayer man. Success does not come easily, but those that commit themselves to prayer will succeed in life and ministry (Psalm 5:3; 1 Thess. 5:7).  He must always stand on Truth (Psalm 15:1-2) and be a friend of the Word of God (2 Timothy 2:15).”
