It is uncommon for husband and wife to be born in the same month. This is case of the Regional Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Pearce Region, Pastor Stephen Olusola Aluko and his adorable wife, Mrs. Julianah Aluko.
While Mrs. Julianah Aluko was on 4th of April, Pastor Aluko was born on the 23rd of April.
Pastor Aluko was born seventy (70) years ago at Odeyinka-Ikire, Osun State; his parents, devoted Christians and CAC members hailed from llupeju Ekiti, Ekiti State.
He was converted at CAC Oniyanrin, Ibadan in 1974, at age 21. After a three months' training as a Sunday School Teacher in this place, CAC Olorunsogo in 1978, little did he ever realize that he would not only eventually head the Christian Education Directorate of Christ Apostolic Church for close to two (2) decades but that after about 44 years (of that Sunday School training), he would be appointed into a four-in-one office of the Pastor of this same CAC Olorunsogo, as the Superintendent of CAC Olorunsogo District, Superintendent of Mushin DCC, and as well as the pioneer Superintendent of CAC Pearce Region. Praise the LORD!
He is a rugged soldier of Christ who served as an Evangelist from 1991-93 at CAC Shiaba, Agege, Lagos. He worked as a lecturer/Registrar of the CACTS, Ile-Ife in 1993 and was thereafter seconded to the School of Missions, Ikeji-Arakeji in 2000.
From 1st May, 2000 to 31st December, 2021 (almost 21 years), he was a National worker in Christ Apostolic Church-first, as the Assistant National Sunday School Superintendent, then as the National Sunday School Superintendent, in 2003, the office which is now known as the Director of Sunday School and which he occupied till his present appointment as a Regional Superintendent. He was a committed member of the Light of the World Society, Mushin District and also an executive member or one of the National Officers of the CAC Students' Association.
He is an alumni member of Yaba College of Technology, UMCA Theological College, University of Ibadan, Nigeria Evangelical Mission Institute, Jos; and he earned both HND, B.TH, MSW, and D.Min degrees.
Pastor Aluko is married to our sister and mother-In-Israel, Mama Julianah since over 40 years and this union is blessed with teachable and God-fearing children and grand-children.
In spiritual endowment, we are here to honour God in the life of a teacher and evangelist to the core, a dynamic preacher of the word, a conference speaker of repute, a successful church planter, an edifying and prolific writer and author, a seasoned church administrator, an erudite scholar, a husband of only one wife, a mentor to many ministers, a true and very humble, quite unassuming servant of the LORD who functions through the Bible and the Holy Spirit.
