CACTS Ile Ife to host maiden edition of Interpreters' Conference

The need for professionalism, effective ministerial discharge of interpretation in local churches and contemporary relevance of interpreters have birthed the maiden edition of the Interpreters' Conference in Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary (CACTS), Main Campus, Ile Ife.


The conference, envisioned at ensuring spirit-filled and skillful interpretation and conformity to the ethical conducts of interpretation, will hold on Saturday, 29th April, 2023.


The fellowship and intellectual gathering of church interpreters themed "Ministry of Interpretation in the 21st Century: An Eroding Culture or a Necessity?" will start by 10am.


With the approval of the management of the Seminary, the conference hosted by the CACTS Ile Ife Interpreters' Unit, will hold at Victoria Adeyoola Akinosun Building, CACTS Main Campus, Ile Ife.


The Guest Speakers of the conference are, the Registrar, Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary (CACTS) and an expert in the field, Pastor Lawrence B. Akinyosoye; Pastor-in-charge, CAC Latona English Assembly (Anointing Chapel), Osogbo and topnotch interpretation minister in Christ Apostolic Church, Pastor Ezekiel Olowookere; alongside the Keynote Speaker, the Dean of Students' Affairs and Director of Chapel, CACTS Ile Ife, Pastor Michael Adetunji.
