Prophet Hezekiah prays for a new Nigeria at National Praise programme

Being severely passionate about Nigeria and unsatisfied with its present state, the General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji at the National Praise programme which ended in the early hours of today, prayed for a new Nigeria.


Prophet Hezekiah, while raising the flag of Nigeria after the congregation sang the national anthem three consecutive times prayed for a new Nigeria that will be full with the love of God, a new Nigeria without discrimination, corruption and shedding of innocent blood.


Meanwhile, in an interview with pressmen, Prophet Hezekiah called on Nigerians to commit the nation into God’s hand saying, “God owns Nigeria and He knows where to appear to Nigeria. We are going to gather to praise Him for what He will do.”


The General Evangelist also called on the Nigerian youths not to sell their future in the coming elections.


“Youths, don’t sell your future, don’t act as thugs to politicians, if you are wounded politicians will not engage you. Protect your future,” he said.


He charged Nigerians not to entertain fear over the coming elections, expressing optimism that God would will turn every threat in the country to testimony. “God owns Nigeria. I want to urge electorate not to sell their votes for a morsel. More importantly, candidates who lose the election should accept their fate and believe there are other opportunities in the future to make it. Security agencies must play by the rule.


“However, we must do away with idolatry and the Lord would return to us. Let’s all believe Him, and play our roles, He will direct our parts. Nigeria will be great again,” he affirmed.


According to him, the National Praise programme was part of God’s plans to intervene in the affairs of the country.
