The Giant of Africa and the continent's most populous country, Nigeria, has been said to presently be in dire need of Jesus Christ, the Saviour more than before to light the way and guide the affairs of the nation.

The President, Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele, made this call at the just concluded CAC Mega Praise Programme held from Friday, January 13th till the early hours of Saturday, January 14th 2023 at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, Nigeria.

Represented by the Regional Superintendent of Akinyele Region, Pastor S. A. Adedayo, the CAC President who assured that the Mega Praise Concert was a re-enactment of II Chronicles 7:1-2 where God would bless individuals, families, churches and the nation.

"We trust that God will use tonight's Mega Praise to heal our land and guide us to make the right choices spiritually, socially, politically etc., in Jesus' Mighty Name," he prayed.

Pastor Oladele, who appreciated the CAC General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah Oluboye Oladele for the concert's initiative, told the massive congregants that, "we are gathered here to re-establish one of the tripods upon which Christ Apostolic Church was founded - that is, Spiritual Worship, the other two being in-depth study of the Word of God, and prevailing prayer."

"The revival of 1930 was ignited by the fire of the revival of the word which started in 1918 when our forebearers were inspired to seek the Word of God through correspondence as far as Philadelphia in America and later Europe. This robust foundation of the Word has helped in no small measure to sustain the Church  against strange doctrines and guide our leaders to this day," he said.

Reacting to the event, the President expressed that CAC members are generally known as people of prayer, but according to him, "we are also a people of the Word and of Worship."

"The Mission Statement of our Church clearly brings this to bear: 'Leading people into the knowledge of God through in-depth study of the Word, prevailing prayer and spiritual worship," he explained.

Telling the congregation that praise is the purpose of man's creation by God, Pastor Oladele emphasized on the need to be born again and keep a close relationship with God.
