Pastor Aigbokhai inducted as 3rd Regional Superintendent, CAC Hanson Region

The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas on Sunday October 23, 2022 inducted Pastor Emmanuel Ozemoya Aigbokhai as the 3rd Regional Superintendent of Hanson Region (Edo and Delta State).

 

Pastor Aigbokhai was inducted by the General Superintendent of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi who represented the church authority alongside the General Secretary, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur.

 

Pastor Aigbokhai succeeded Pastor S.I. Ogbomode who retired after clocking age 75 which is the mandated retirement age for ministers in CAC.

 

BIOGRAPHY OF PASTOR AIGBOKHAI

Pastor was born over seven decades ago into the family of Late Pa and Mrs. Samuel Aigbokhai of blessed memory. He is the only male child and the last born out of the four children born to the father from his mother side, because he came out from a polygamous family of four wives.

He hails from Umasi Quarters of Ikhin in Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State. He attended both the standard and modern college at Ikhin his home town before proceeding to engage in Tailoring at Auchi in the then Mid-West  Region now Edo State.

He was a choir member of St. Mark Anglican Church, Ikhin before moving to Christ ApostolicChurch. He was called into the ministry in 1967 and was under the tutelage of Pastor.J.O.Alabi who was then minister in charge of Oke Ayo Ikhin.

He proceeded to the Bible Bible Training College in 1969 and was trained under the Late Mrs. Pearce. He further attended the Pastoral course training between 1978 to 1979.Himself and others started the course at Shaaba,Agege under Late Pastor.P.O. Bandele. Fortunately, before the end of the programme, they were moved to Imore,Ile-Ife. So that made him to be one of the pioneer students at CACTS Ile-Ife. He was thereafterordained in 1980 at Ilesha.

MINISTERIAL JOURNEY SO FAR

·        He became Catechist (Evangelist) at Ughelli, Delta in 1971

·        Evangelist at Ikiran Ile ( now in Edo state) 1971-1974

·        Evangelist at CAC Ekpedo 1974-1978

·        Evangelist at CAC AwuyemiOkpella where he became pastor between 1978- 1988

He served as a Pastor at CAC Apapa District Headquarters, Lagos in 1988-1991 before he was promoted to District Superintendent and posted to Okpella in 1991.

Gracefully, he was transferred to Abuja as District Superintendent of Abuja District between 1992-1996. He also served as briefly as District Superintendent of Bauchi District in1996.

In 1996, pastor Aigbokhai was promoted to the rank of Assistant General Superintendent (AGS 1) AND posted as D/S to Isalu District Idanre from 1996-2000.

He was posted to Uwa District, Benin City as District Superintendent between 2000-2001.

Through the mercy of God, baba was promoted as Chairman Edo DCC before he was posted to AfemaiZone  in 2001 as the pioneer zonal Chairman (then Igarra, Edo state). He was later posted to Lagos for the second time but this time as Zonal Chairmaqn of Salvation zone,Oko Oba, Agege, Lagos in 2006.

In 2011, he was promoted to DCC Chairman and posted to head Kaduna DCC where he was till 2015 before he was transfer to Ibadan as the DCC Chairman of Idi Arere DCC where was from 2015-2017.

In 2017, the Authority deem it fit to post him to ObioAkpor zone in 2017 which he humbly accepted obediently before he was graciously favoured by God and the Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas to be promoted to the rank of Regional Superintendent on 1st  July, 2022 and posted to Edo state.

COMMITTEE AND POSITIONS HELD

He was the chairman, Finance Board, Edo DCC, 2000- 2001

Member Conference planning committee 2001-2011

Chairman of Kaduna State Council Of Chairmen, 2011-2015

Chairman of Council of Chairmen, Abuja conference center (comprising of FCT,kaduna,Benue,Niger, Nassarawa,  States) 2014-2015. He took over from     

Rtd. Pastor. S.O.Akinsurule and handed over to Pastor I.O.Ibitomi (RTD.)

MARITAL LIFE

Pastor Aigbokhai is married to Mrs. Grace Igbekele Aigbokhai (nee Udugweme). They are blessed with eight graceful children comprising of five males and three females who are all members of CAC and comprises of

One ordained Elder,a District Superintendent,an ordained pastor, an Evangelist, while others are married to Pastors in CAC and church planters

Baba has reported and assumed office as the 3rd Regional Superintendent of Hanson Region on 1st July, 2022. We wish him a very successful tenure. Amen.
