The 2022 International Youth Conference and Thanksgiving Celebration, Ikeji III Conference Centre of Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship started on a high note on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
It was an atmosphere of overwhelming presence of God as the youths of the church from Edo State, Delta state, Osun State and Oyo State which forms Ikeji III (Hanson, Orogun and Babalola) encountered God in every session of the programme.
No words can best describe the atmosphere during the praise and worship session led by the conference choir who in their beautiful attires took God's people to His presence with uncommon and sacred thanksgiving songs.
Conference anthem was joyfully rendered, followed by welcome speech by the Director of Youth Affairs, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro who spoke on the topic "Why then and not now" taking his text from Genesis chapter 28 verses 10 to 16.
"Life During Camp" was well explained to the participants which was followed by testimonies and vow payment session. Youths from each state of the region were called and they joyfully trooped out with dancing to appreciate God. There were also unbelievable testimonies from some participants which show our God still answers prayers like as of old.
The revival hour handled by the Zonal Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Power of His Word Zone, Ibadan, Pastor Ayobamidele O. Peter was another session of unforgettable encounter and prophetic prayers.
The conference continues today with different powerful and impactful sessions.
