CAC Missions Department opens mission field in Oron, Akwa Ibom State

In her quest to further expand the Kingdom of God on earth, the Missions Department of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas last week opened new mission field in Oron, Akwa Ibom State. 


Oron is a coastal city and Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. It is home to the Maritime Academy of Nigeria and the Oron Museum. It has an area of 70 km² and a population of 156,461 at the 2006 census. It is 30 minutes away from Cameroon.


The Missions Director of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Caxton S. Fasuyi led the team to Oron. Others in the team are Assistant Missions Director, Pastor Seed Ibrasang, Personal Assistant to the Missions Director, Pastor Ebenezer Adedigba, Mr Bamidele Balogun (Driver) and the missionary Pastor in Oron, Pastor Durable Divine.


Before going to the field, the Missions Director, Pastor Fasuyi and his team paid a visit to the CAC Uyo Zonal headquarters, CAC Etimbuk DCC headquarters at Ikot Akpa Eda, CAC Akwa Ibom DCC headquarters at Mkpat Enin, CAC Ikemesit DCC headquarters at Eket and Oron district headquarters at Oron Town. They met with all the Superintendents of the DCCs, Zone and District namely; Pastor A.S. Udofa (Uyo Zonal Superintendent), Pastor A.F. Akpabio (Etimbuk DCC Superintendent), Pastor S.G. Essien (Akwa Ibom DCC Superintendent and Olutimehin Regional Secretary), Pastor C.O. Uko (Ikemesit DCC Superintendent) and Pastor Isaac Isangofon (Oron District Superintendent).


Pastor Durable Divine was put in charge of Oron Field. The mission field was also presented chairs, drum, bell and public address system.
