Today is the birthday of the Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Ketu Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Ketu, Lagos, Pastor M.A. Ajayi.
Pastor Moses Adebayo Ajayi was born in Ekiti State but he is an indigene of Boluwaduro Local Government of Osun State. He was born about six decades ago to the family of Mr. Mathew and Mrs. Alice Ajayi. He had his Primary, Modern and Secondary education in Ekiti, Ondo and Osun states respectively. He intended to further his education at a tertiary institution and gained admission to Osun State College of Education lla Orangun. However, because of the call of God upon him, he could not continue. After his attempts through other means to do secular work failed, he had to surrender to accept the call of God for ministerial work. He started his training under the tutelage of Pastor M.B. Olakanye, the then, Ikirun Districts' Coordinating Council Chairman.
After his graduation, he was posted to C.A.C. Iragbiji No 2, where he worked briefly before he proceeded to Theology Seminary. Imbued with the zeal to have more knowledge of the word of God in God's Vineyard, he attended various Theological Insitutions where he obtained the following Certificates:
i. Diploma in Theology from ECWA Theology Seminary, Igbaja, Kwara State. ii. Pastoral Certificate in C.A.C. Theological Seminary, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
iii. Bachelor in Biblical Studies from L.I.EE Theology Seminary, Ikorodu, Lagos (Abuja Campus).
iv. Diploma in Pastoral Education and Chaplaincy, Sango-Otta, Ogun State.
v. Certificate in Advance Chaplaincy in Sango-Otta, Ogun State. He worked in C.A.C. Olorunsogo, Igbogi, llesa, and C.A.C. Oke-Ife, Fajuyi, Ile-Ife as an Evangelist. In recognition of his robust theological and ministerial training, he became a full-fledged Pastor gracefully ordained by the Christ Apostolic Church Authority in 1995. Well- rooted in ministerial ethics, he continued his envisioned pastoral activities and worked relentlessly and assiduously in many Assemblies of Christ Apostolic Church especially in South-West, South-South and F.C.T. Abuja. He became a District Superintendent in C.A.C. Wuse- Din Bui, Abuja District in 2006.
He was promoted to the rank of Zonal Superintendent of C.A.C. at Prince of Peace Zone Airport, Abuja in 2013..
From there, he was transferred to C.A.C. Unity D.C.C. Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State in 2016. After spending five years there, he was transferred to C.A.C. Mushin D.C.C. Lagos in 2021. Due to creation of more Regions by the C.A.C. Authority in 2021 that led to the upgrading of C.A.C. Mushin to Regional Headquarters, he was transferred from C.A.C. Mushin D.C.C. to C.A.C. Ketu D.C.C. Lagos, with effect from 1 January, 2022. By the grace of God upon his life, and his spiritual gift of teaching, he became one of Lecturers and has been teaching in the Pastoral training programmes of C.A.C. Worldwide since 2014 till date
Pastor Ajayi had the opportunity of traveling to the United States of America. By virtue of his US Green card, he became a citizen of the United States of America. He is married to his beautiful, humble, hardworking and supportive wife, Mrs. L.B. Ajayi and they are blessed with wonderful children.
