The Coordinator of Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF), Akinyele Region, Pastor Olu Olorunpomi, at the maiden edition of the region's executive leadership retreat held at Christ Family Zonal headquarters on Saturday, has challenged leaders to greater and higher service unto God.

According to Him, God does not permit excuses and mediocrity as far as His work is concerned.

Speaking to leaders during the program's welcome charge, Pastor Olorunpomi had commended the leaders for the job well done in the past, and encouraged them to do more than they had done in the past.

In his words, he said,"The essence of discipleship is apostleship - picking a good follower to translate into great leadership.

Therefore, I celebrate everyone here today who has come this far in the journey of leadership and on the other hand, by the grace I've received, I stand to challenge us into the reign of greater and higher service unto the Lord".

Referencing the exploits of the past leaders in Akinyele region, Pastor Olorunpomi made a point that the region has a large fellowship which is supposed to translate into commensurate strength.

It is on this note that he unveiled a new agenda which he called the G.R.E.A.T agenda.

According to him, the agenda came with a view to achieving a great fellowship whose impact would be greatly felt in the Church and reverberate across the globe.

He noted that the vision for the agenda can only be achieved by a well defined purpose driven by power for the people of God adding that it will cost leaders time, talents, treasures, trust, and thrust.

He then charged the leaders to count the cost and pay the price.
