It was a day of celebrating God's unending mercy as special guests, ministers of God and members of Christ Apostolic Church, Somolu Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) gathered to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the DCC in grand style.
The service was held at the DCC headquarters on Sunday June 19,2022 with the theme "Jesus The Sustainable Helper."
"Great is Thy faithfulness O Lord our God" said Pastor E.O. Oyedeji, the Superintendent of Somolu DCC as he gives his address.
" To Him be all glory, honour and adoration for His steadfast love towards us at witnessing this year SHILOH gathering marking the 20th Somolu DCC Anniversary. No doubt that Somolu had come all way long. To God be glorified for His goodness.
"I like to express my heartfelt appreciation" he proceeds as he appreciates the District Superintendent, Pastors, Evangelists, Pastors’ Wives, Midwives, Elders, Deaconesses, Youth, Ushers, Choristers, Media Team, Heads of Groups and Departments, Men, Women and Children at large for their support. He said "you have been giving to Shiloh since its inception till date. God bless you all.I charge you all to put more effort at the things of God as you know that your labour for Him is not in vain."
The Zonal Superintendent of CAC Oke Christ Family Zone, Pastor I.O. Afolayan during his words of exhortation said we all need help but where and who you run to for help is very important.
He noted that God's help is the ultimate and best because His help is eternal not like man which is seasonal.
"Who are those that God Helps? God helps those who call on Him. Those who are His children and those who are His friends. Just like it's the responsibility of a good father to take care of his children, God would never turn deaf ears to your prayers if you call on Him.
Also During the programmme, Mrs O. Taiwo was rewarded for her great work in the house of God.
The programmme came to an end as the 12 districts and 3 centers under the Somolu DCC did a general thanksgiving with a joyful heart.
