It was a day of divine fulfilment at the commissioning of the mission house of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Alafia 2, Erin-Ijesha, Osun State.
The mission house, built and donated by the planter of CAC Bonerges Assemblies, Prophet Ade Ologbonyo was commissioned on Wednesday April 20, 2022 by the Zonal Superintendent of CAC Erin-Ijesha Zone, Pastor E.O. Odesanya and His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba, Engr. (Dr.) Isaac Adeyeba Ayeni (Okin Oloro II), Akinla of Erin-Ijesha.
The commissioning programmme was witnessed by traditional rulers, ministers of God and people of Erin-Ijesha who gathered to witness what the Lord has done.
While speaking on the project, Prophet Ologbonyo with enthusiasm said he has no power to buy a single Tricycle for anybody, that it was rather the Lord's doing.
He disclosed that God spoke to him when he came to Erin-Ijesha on January 2nd 2022 to build mission house for the assembly.
"When I came on January 2nd to pray in Erin-Ijesha, God said we shouldn't go to the mountain to pray, but look for a hall. That is how we knew CAC Oke Alafia. It was during the course of the prayer God put it in my heart to do something for the church. I was thinking set drum would be fine, but God told me I shouldn't buy it, but I should build mission house for the church. The Pastor in charge was not around. I called for him the second day and he told me the church didn't have a mission house. He was living in a rented apartment. I disclosed what the Lord told me to him. The foundation was laid on the 18th of January, 2022. Despite the cost of building materials presently, God built this mission house under 70 days.," he said.
The renowned Prophet further said they stopped all their projects in all CAC Boanerges assemblies because of this Project, thereby, appreciating God for the completion.
"It is the Lord's doing, I have no power to build house for anybody. I want to appreciate the Kabiyesi and all the high chiefs for their support. I also want to appreciate the Superintendent of CAC Erin-Ijesha. It is the Lord who built this house, not me," he concluded.
The Zonal Superintendent of CAC Erin-Ijesha Zone, Pastor Odesanya said while ministering at the commissioning service that without God there is nothing and after God it is God.
He noted that He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Pastor Odesanya stated that God has designed it that the mission house would be built and commissioned, saying that men can propose, it's for God to dispose.
His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba, Engr. (Dr.) Isaac Adeyeba Ayeni (Okin Oloro II), Akinla of Erin-Ijesha while speaking appreciated God for making the building and completion of the building possible.
He said no one can imagine a small assembly like CAC Oke-Alafia would have this kind of mission house.
"I also want to appreciate Prophet Ologbonyo for yielding to the call of God to build the house. God has spoken to many in the past who failed to yield. I want to also tell people of Erin-Ijesha that a new era has come. They should all prepare and join hands for Erin-Ijesha to move forward," he noted.
The Assembly Pastor of CAC Oke-Alafia 2, Erin-Ijesha, Pastor Matthew Bandele Fagbemile expressed his happiness saying that he has been very happy since the beginning of the project, even till now.
"I want to appreciate God for this miracle. The church rented an apartment for me when I was transferred here in 2020. I have always been praying for Prophet Ologbonyo that God will continue to use him for His glory. I also want to appeal to the indigene of Erin-Ijesha across the globe that they should come to the aide of the village," he stated.
