Saturday, March 5th 2022 was a day of celebrating God's sufficient grace with overwhelming joy as Evangelist (Mrs) Dorcas Adenike Afolayan celebrated her 50th birthday.

Evang. (Mrs.) Afolayan who is the wife of the Zonal Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Christ Family Zone, Pastor Isaiah O. Afolayan, was full of praise to God, the keeper of life for His unquantifiable mercies over her life, family and ministry.

The Golden Jubilee anniversary which was strictly by invitation held at the English Assembly of CAC Christ Family Zonal Headquarters, Ikosi-Ketu, Lagos and it had in attendance families, friends, lovers and well wishers of the celebrant.

The husband of the celebrant and Zonal Superintendent of Christ Family Zone, Pastor Afolayan while testifying about the celebrant, stated that, "My wife is an epitome of beauty embedded with so many talents,"

Pastor Afolayan noted that his wife has never argued with him concerning anything, saying to her that;" I love you so much, my darling wife."

While eulogizing his mother, the first child of the celebrant, Israel Afolayan said; "my mother is a loving and industrious woman. She will always make sure we are all comfortable and not lacking anything. I love you, Mum."

The whole congregation was thrown into laugher when the children of the celebrant staged a little playlet to mimick their mother.

The DCC Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Somolu Districts Coordinating Council (DCC), Lagos, Pastor Elisa O. Oyedeji while ministering at the programme said the way you live your life would determine what people would say about you when you are dead or alive.

According to him, so many people lay their hands and hearts into filthy things during their lifetime, making their lifetime meaningless to them and even to God.

"Life is so short, we need to put our hearts to wisdom, consecrating ourselves and heart to the expectation of the coming of Christ by counting our days on earth," he added.

Commenting on why we need to count our days, the Cleric said; "everything that has a beginning has an end. Therefore, every human on earth would account for whatsoever he has done in the flesh. We are all like a plant that has it own season. Use every time of your life well and in pursuit of Christ and his heavenly kingdom not the vanity in the world."
