Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF), Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho, Oyo State, on Sunday September 26, 2021 held her 30th anniversary thanksgiving service.

The anniversary started on Monday September 20, 2021 with different powerful and impartful programmes which indeed blessed lives.

While ministering at the programme on the topic "The God of our Fathers," the Youth Officer of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro said God will never accept to be our God until He sees our obedience, dependence on him, selfless dedication to His service and commitment to walk daily with Him.

He said God is willing to express Himself and His power through us like in the days of our fathers, if we know Him to be our God.

"David in his last admonition to his son Solomon said; 'know the God of your father and serve Him' (1Chro. 28:9). This expresses a burden in the heart of our fathers in CAC towards us all, the children. The big challenge here is that we can't experience His acts except he becomes our God just as He was to our fathers. He must be your own God. God's desire to have human representation/agents on earth through whom He will express Himself remains the reason why He sought for our fathers. Today, this order has not changed, God still looks for men to represent Him on earth," the Cleric said.

According to him, Moses' experience in Exodus 3:1-6 shows that God can be well and truly known by encounter where He choses to introduce Himself to man.

He noted that this Bible expression 'I am the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob' gives equal opportunity to every man who desire to have God as his or her God.

He added that; "also, it expresses the truth that God's best is not in the past/history, rather, they are speciments for greater things that God is able to do with any man (Gen. 28:13,15-16,Exo.3:6,15,16,Acts 7:32,Psalm 47:9)"

Pastor Gbuyiro stressed that if we desire to see His wonderous acts in our time, we must be available for Him.

  1. I was there. It was such a powerful Ministration. Daddy also mentioned that the God of our Fathers also want to be our God. And as we call on the God of our Fathers for miracles, signs and wonders, we should also remember that He is God of our Fathers in holiness
