A District Superintendent in Christ Apostolic Church, Pastor Akinwunmi Akintunde has urged everyone to depend on God for a great future, noting that only God can guarantee a great future for anyone.
Pastor Akintunde stated this while ministering on the topic "The Future" at a programme tagged "Showers of Blessing" organized by CAC Itire DCC headquarters, Itire, Lagos.
He said the future is the time or years ahead of someone, it's a time Heaven prepared for one's fulfillment of purpose.
According to him, the greatest thing that can happen to a parent is to witness or see the future of his or her children.
Pastor Akintunde who said all challenges one is facing is because of the great future ahead, stated that one of the battles one should fight is the battle of a good future.
The Cleric said the enemy is not fighting one because of today, rather because of the future.
Pastor Akintunde stated that Jesus never talked when he was expected to talk despite being tormented because he saw the glory waiting ahead of him.
"You need to know that the enemy doesn't know everything about your future. Your future is greater than you and at the moment, you may not resemble your divinely ordained future," he concluded.
