A church without vibrant children department is a dying church, says Pastor Aluko at Children Workers' Seminar of Olutimehin Region

The Director of Sunday School, Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor S.O. Aluko has said any church without a vibrant children department is a dying church.


Pastor Aluko stated this on Thursday July 8, 2021 at the welcome service of children workers seminar of CAC Olutimehin Region which in ongoing at CAC Mount of Miracle, Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.


He said: "there can be no gaps(vacuum) in God's program (agenda), so regularly and constantly, He sends children for divine assignment, but they must be received and assisted to key into God's program. Are we ready?"


The welcome service was held having crop of people from the Eastern bloc of Nigeria and members and staff of Sunday School department in attendance.


Some of the dignitaries present are the Regional Superintendent of CAC Olutimehin Region, Pastor E.A. Olusoko,the chairman Christian Education Committee, Pastor C.S.A. Balogun and Secretary, Eastern bloc Sunday School, Pastor Agom among others.


After praise and worship session by the choir, opening hymn was taken singing from CACGHB 840 before the programmem was officially declared open by Pastor C.S.A. Balogun.


The welcome address was taken by the Olutimehin Regional Superintendent, Pastor Olusoko before the first lecture titled "Children are God's Eternal Heritage" which was taken by Pastor Aluko.
