The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele has told ministers of the Gospel not to compare themselves with anyone, but be satisfied with who God had made them.

Pastor Oladele who stated this while ministering on the topic "Discipline: A Pathway to Greatness" at 2021 Evangelists, Planters, Prophets, Prophetesses Conference in Ikeji-Akakeji said despite the importance of cedar tree, it was never used by the Israelites to sprinkle blood as directed by God to their doorposts while about to leave Egypt, instead they used hyssop, saying that everyone has his or her usefulness.

He noted that there is God's and world's estimates of greatness, adding that it is only those who are great in the sight of the Lord that are truly great because the greatness of the world is false, though fanciful.

The Cleric further explained that "some people believe that when they become great in life, they have no business with the poor, but this mentality or belief is totally against the scripture. Jesus never said we should not walk with the poor, in fact He dwelled more with them. He was seen among the poor. It is an arrogant thinking to think that you can't dwell with the poor or the less privileged."

He cited the example of a particular minister of God who decided to chase away one of his disciples because he thought such person is a symbol of poverty. He said Jesus never taught us this because majority of those who surrounded Him were poor and He never chased them away.

According to him, the prayer of every minister should be that God should return us to the Gospel of the Bible.

Pastor Oladele said apart from the desire to become great in the sight of the Lord, our prayer should be: "God let me be useful for you."

He however said anybody who wants to be great in God's sight or useful must be very disciplined.

He stressed that anyone who has not passed through brokenness would misbehave in the ministry.
