The Youth Officer of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro has said any Christian who has not experienced the power of Christ's resurrection is like an unbeliever.
He noted that knowing about the history of resurrection is not enough without experiencing the power of resurrection.
Pastor Gbuyiro stated this while ministering on the topic "Power of His Resurrection" at the Easter Sunday Service of CAC Chapel of Grace, Ibadan.
Taking the text from Philippians chapter 3 verses 7 to 11, the Youth Officer further stressed that the power of resurrection gives us power to overcome sin and live without sinning.
The Cleric said it is the power of Christ's resurrection that gives us power to turn our world upside down for Christ just like the Apostles did.
"There is more to Christ's resurrection than celebration. Resurrection is not just an event because those who killed Jesus made attempt to make His resurrection impossible (Matthew 27:62-66). There is a power behind Christ's resurrection. By His resurrection, Christ rendered devil and sin useless," he said.
Pastor Gbuyiro emphasized that the purpose of resurrection would not manifest in the life of anyone who takes it as celebration, urging all Christians to seek the power of His resurrection.
