The General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi has told the newly commissioned DCC, Zonal and District Superintendents not to see promotion as an avenue for pride.

Pastor Odejobi, who represented the President of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele stated this at the commissioning of new DCC, Zonal and District Superintendents in Ikeji-Arakeji on Wednesday February 17, 2021.

He also said promotion is not an avenue to become a thief and problem to the church authority by not remitting necessary funds or dues, adding that they should learn from Ananiah and Sapphira.

According to him, promotion has an antidote which is demotion, saying that many have been demoted because of bad conduct.

While urging them not to misuse this opportunity, the General Superintendent said: "play not with this crown on your head. Don't forget the crown of the king makes him honourable."

He said if promotion is used very well, there will be grace and glory and honour.

Pastor Odejobi further urged the Superintendents to carry their wives and children along in the ministry.
