The Provost expressed concern over provocative utterances from religious leaders threatening peace and unity of the country.

Professor Oshun appealed to Church leaders to embark more on evangelism and support efforts at alleviating the plight of the poor.

He stressed the need for the newly ordained ministers to shun material things and concentrate more on winning Souls for Christ.

CACTS Abuja Campus Coordinator, Pastor Gabriel Ehindero said the present security and economic situation in the country would not deter the Church from carrying out its responsibilities in promoting moral values and religious harmony.

Pastor Ehindero however appealed to the Federal Government to tackle the security challenge and come up with more initiatives to address high number of unemployed youths in the country.
