"What we worry about does not concern God" by Pastor 'Femi Olorunnisola

While we worry about how fast we grow, God is concerned about how strong and how well we grow.

While we worry about how fast time flies, God is concerned about how well we used our flying times.

While we worry about where we are passing through, God is concerned about where we are going to.

While we worry about what is happening to us, God is concerned about what will happen to us. While we worry about not seeing or feeling the hands of God, God is concerned about us not seeing his face shine upon us.

While we worry about what is going on around us, God is concerned about what is going on inside of us.

While we worry about the price we need to pay to get it all, God is concerned about the prize we get at the end of it all.

While we worry about how successful we should be, God is concerned about how faithful we should be.

While we worry about who accepts us, God is concerned about what we have accepted.

While we worry about our availability, God is concerned about our dependability.

While we worry about our capability, God is concerned about our responsibility.

While we worry about our ability, God is concerned about our accountability.

The truth is this, we worry about what does not concern God.

Jesus told us not to worry even about tomorrow, but be cognisant of what is concerned about (Matthew 6: 25 - 34). He also charged us to seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness (we tend to forget or neglect the righteousness part of the Kingdom sometimes) and every other thing will be added (Matthew 6:33). So, it is better to cast your burdens, worries and cares upon the Lord for he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

We need to pray that God should open our eyes to see what he is concerned about in our lives.

We need to pray that God open our eyes to see ourselves the way he is seeing us.

God bless you real good.

Your friend and brother
