The new President of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele has urged members of staff of the General Secretariat of the Church to learn how to tolerate with one another.
Pastor Oladele stated this on Wednesday January 6, 2021 at the New Year Welcome Service organized for the staff of CAC General Secretariat, Ibadan, Oyo State. The programme which was held at “All Saints Chapel” was organized to appreciate God for a successful 2020 and to seek God's face for 2021 as well as to pray for the Church, Oyo State and Nigeria.
He told the staff that they have to train themselves to relate with people whether they like it or not, adding that “you've got me to deal with and I've got you to deal with.”
“As we begin our service for the Lord this year, know that we've got ourselves to deal with. Know how to service relationship. Same way you drink water and put water in your car is the same way you have to service your relationship with people. Our coming together should be for peace, fellowship and joy,” he said.
While quoting Psalm 133:1-3, Pastor Oladele told Heads of Departments that what falls upon them will have an effect on every member of staff in their department.
The Cleric said if the head is good the church will prosper, adding that peace is the hallmark of Christian fellowship.
During the course of Pastor Oladele’s ministration, the immediate past President of the church, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun walked in. He was joyfully given a grand reception.
While speaking at the programme, Pastor Akinosun appreciated everyone for their support and cooperation throughout his tenure of office.
He said he is happy because he left a formidable team behind, urging the staff to give them maximum support.
The new General Superintendent of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Emmanel O. Odejobi was formally introduced and welcomed to the Secretariat for the commencement of his official duty by the General Secretary, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur on behalf of the Church Authority.
General Evangelist of CAC Worldwide, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji anchored the prayer session. He led the congregation to pray for CAC, Oyo State and Nigeria.
The programme had in attendance all the Principal Officers of the Church which are the President, Pastor Oladele, General Superintendent, Pastor Odejobi, General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah, General Secretary, Pastor Mapur, Finance Director, Pastor J.F. Omitinde and Missions Director, Pastor C.S. Fasuyi.
Also in attendance were the Regional Superintendent of CAC Babalola Region, Pastor J.O. Ogunwuyi, DCC Superintendent, Itire DCC, Pastor Gideon O. Oladokun, Oke-Ado DCC Superintendent, Pastor G.S. Dada, Vineyard of Mercy DCC Superintendent, Pastor Anu Ojo, Director of Publicity, Pastor Ade Alawode, Music Director, Pastor Tope Dada, Youth Officer, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro and many others.
