The DCC Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Somolu Olaleye Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Pastor J.O. Akinyomi has said Christmas is a perfect platform to reignite the message of peace and hope to the universe.
He said this is so because it is a time sanctified on our earthly calendar to mark the grand entry of Jesus Christ Who is the conveyor of this message on earth.
Pastor Akinyomi stated this in his Christmas Message exclusively obtained by CAC News.
In his exact words: "Christmas is a perfect platform to reignite the message of Peace and Hope to the Universe. This is so because it is a time sanctified on our earthly calendar to mark the grand entry of Jesus Christ Who is the conveyor of this message on earth.Christmas is the celebration of the Anointed One. It's the manifestation of God in human flesh to redeem mankind. God demonstrated His uncommon love for mankind in Christmas. The overall message is clear and I enjoin everyone to walk in this regard. Show love, speak of Christ, speak of His love and peace and be Christ-like on earth."
According to him, as we are celebrating Christmas, there are some things that we can give and should give to God.
He said we can give God our lives, our devotion, our homes and families, adding that Christmas is about what God has given us.
Pastor Akinyomi concluded that;" Christmas is about why Jesus came into the world.God became man because His love requires Him to redeem or save mankind, and the only way to do this was for Him to become a man."
