By Pastor Ademisoye Alawode

The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Abraham Olukunle Akinosun has appealed to Christians to make houses of God a place where the oppressed, the refugees and those in need could get succour and assistance.

Pastor Akinosun said this while dedicating the Sunday School Director's residence in Akure today August 6, 2020.

Quoting from Numbers Chapter 1 verses 47 to 53, he said the tribe of Levite was set apart by God to minister in the temple to the people.

He said the Levites were not slotted any land but were given 42 cities that were to serve as cities of refuge for people who mistakenly killed others to avoid the avenger of blood.

He drew the attention of his listeners to the fact that the house of God was to rise to the occasion of helping people in need.

He appealed to those who would use the house to ensure that it serves the purpose of providing refuge for those in need and those who are hurting.
Earlier in his welcome address, Pastor Steven O Aluko thanked the authorities of the Church for financing the building project with over 60% of the total cost.

He also commended individuals, the board members and the CAC Press for their various contributions which made the project a success.

The foundation of the Sunday School Director's residential building was laid by Pastor Abraham Olukunle Akinosun on November 2, 2017.
