CAC Mission Department plants new assembly in Surulere, Lagos

The Mission Department of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide in connection with Evangelism and Church Planting Department of Akinyele Region has planted a new assembly in Surulere, Lagos.



The assembly which is named CAC Surulere Assembly held its first service on Sunday 2nd of February, 2020 in the auditorium situated at 14 Adetola Shode Street, Behind Aguda Market, Surulere, Lagos.



According to the Mission Pastor of Akinyele Region, Pastor I.D.O Akinpelu, the vision of the newly planted assembly is "Turning members to passionate missionaries" while the mission is "Raising people of God's power to fulfil the vision and mission of CAC Worldwide."



He further stated that the Core Values of the church are Holiness, Hospitality, Humility and Happiness.



Pastor Akinpelu also said members of the new church will participate in groaning (prayers), giving and evangelism.



In his address, the Mission Director of CAC Worldwide, Pastor C.S Fasuyi noted that God has given the mission a mandate which is spreading the gospel and that is why the mission has continued to spread the word and baptise people.



"We have many people who are yet to receive Christ on this street. We must struggle to bring people to the right way," he added.



Pastor Fasuyi also corrected the misconception that the Missions Departments plant churches abroad only, saying the mission plants churches both home and abroad.



Evangelist Paul Igbinoba was announced as the minister in charge of the assembly and was prayed for after which the Instrument of Office of the church which include Preacher's book, Visitors Book and Record book plus fliers/tracts were handed over to him.



The new assembly, CAC Surulere Assembly was zoned under CAC Calvary Zone. There was also Holy Communion Service after the church service.



In attendance were Zonal Superintendent of Calvary Zone, Pastor I.B Ajanaku; District Superintendent of Victory Land Ilupeju, Prophet Adeyanju; Personal Assistant to Pastor Fasuyi, Pastor Ebenezer; Pastor and Mrs Akinpelu, Pastor C.S and Mrs J.T Fasuyi and members from different assemblies.
