Ahead of 2019 Music Ministers' Conference which commences next week, the Music Directorate of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, has directed all music ministers to fast and pray on Friday 19th July, 2019.
The Music Directorate stated in a circular obtained by CAC NEWS that:" Dear Music Ministers, as we prepare for the 2019 Music Ministers' Conference, we've been instructed by God through our Music Director, Pastor Tope Dada, to observe a one-day Prayer and Fasting tomorrow, Friday, 19th July 2019."
"Our prayers should focus on the following:
1. Fresh fire of the Holy Spirit to accompany our ministrations
2. Pray for the success of the coming Music Ministers' Conference
3. Ask that the Lord make this a "Shiloh" experience for you and your choir members.
4. Let's ask the Lord to make all our journeys safe.
5. Pray for the leadership of the Church and the Music Directorate for more renewed strength, grace and wisdom."
"The Music Director has made this fast compulsory for all Music Ministers in Christ Apostolic Church, whether or not they will be attending the conference."
"Wherever we all are on Friday, please let's observe the hours of prayers - 12 midnight, 3AM, 6AM, 9AM, 12 noon, 3PM, 6PM, and 9PM."
"As we wait on the Lord in unity of heart and purpose, may the Apostolic fire envelop us all."
The 2019 Music Ministers' conference will hold at Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State from 24th to 26th July, 2019. Though, online registration for the conference has closed, but music ministers who have not registered online can still register at the venue of the programme next week with N7000.
Arrival for the conference is Tuesday July 23rd, while programme starts by 10am on Wednesday 24th July, 2019. The conference ends in the evening of Friday July 26th and everybody will departure on Saturday July 27, 2019.
