It was a celebration of 55 years of God's faithfulness at the grand finale of the 55th annual conference of Christ Apostolic Church Faith Home Child Birth & Missionary Workers Training Centre, Ede Osun State.
The Thanksgiving Service which was the grand finale of the conference which started on Monday April 29, 2019 was held on Sunday May 5, 2019.
CAC NEWS learnt that the conference was specially organized for midwives and birth attendants who have passed through the training centre.
While speaking at the Thanksgiving Service, the Finance Director of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Johnson F. Omitinde urged the midwives to focus on fulfilling the scripture for their calling.
Pastor Omitinde who was representing the President of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun told the midwives they were called to do the work of God who sent them.
"Work is a must for every creation. Jesus said "I must do the work of Him who sent me." If Christ can say so, everyone must work. Your calling is to fulfill the scripture. Your work is to assist the work of creation. As midwives, whom do you give the glory of your work? Is it yourself or your husband? You may be gifted in what you're doing, but you must do it according to how God wants it," the Cleric said.
The Matron of the Faith Home, Evang (Mrs) Lola Awoyungbo appreciated the church authority for their moral and spiritual support and for gracing the occasion.
She also appreciated ministers in the various Assemblies, District, Zones, DCCs who have been cooperating very well with the midwives and birth attendants.
"It is very important for all of us in the service of God in the church ministry to always remember that the establishment of the CAC Faith Home Maternity by our church patriarchs was definitely not for commercial or profit making purposes, but strictly for promotion and advancement of Christ's gospel and His kingdom on earth, just like evangelism and church planting," she noted.
